Battle on the Bayou Softball Tournament
The Battle on the Bayou is a softball tournament for men and women. It is usually held in April of each year.
Children's Fishing Derby
The Children's Fishing Derby is a free event for all area children. The derby is held in June at Pleasant View Park.

Community Fireworks Display
This community fireworks display is held on July 4th and attracts thousands of visitors from across the River Valley.

This event is held at the Hughes Community Center on Halloween of each year. (In the event Halloween falls on Sunday, the event will be held on Saturday). This event is a open to all area children as a safe alternative to Trick or Treating.

Trout Day


The Russellville Parks Department, the Caddis Fly Fishing Club and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission host this annual trout fishing event. The event is held at Pleasant View Park where the pond is stocked with trout. This event is for all ages. A fishing license and trout stamp is required for persons 16 years of age or older. A basic trout fishing clinic is held during the week prior to the event.

Christmas Parade


This city wide event is held downtown on the 1st Thursday of December. The parade kicks off the holiday season for the City of Russellville.
