COVID-19 Virus info provided via Arkansas Municipal League

The following information was provided through the Arkansas Municipal League. Please utilize this information if you have concerns that you may have been infected by the COVID-19 Virus.

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is providing free, online screening for COVID-19 through the UAMS Health Now. UAMS Health Now is a 24-hour digital connection to health care professionals that will provide screening and offer next step advice to those that suspect they may be infected with the COVID-19 virus. To access UAMS Health Now, go to and click on the screening tool.

Additionally, two call centers have been set up for triage and diagnosis of the COVID-19 virus. The Department of Health’s number is 800-803-7847. Arkansas Children’s Hospital’s number is 800-743-3616.

Members can also get interim guidance for businesses and employers from the CDC and OSHA by clicking here: This interim guidance may help prevent workplace exposures to acute respiratory illnesses, including COVID-19, in non-healthcare settings. The guidance also provides planning considerations if there are more widespread, community outbreaks of COVID-19.
