Proclamations will not be issued for :
Proclamation requests are considered on a case-by-case basis subject to their significance to the city and its residents. Proclamations are strictly honorary and are not legally binding. Proclamations must affect a broad group of people. We will not issue proclamations for individuals. A Certificate of Recognition or Congratulatory letter is an alternative where proclamation criteria are not met. The Mayor’s Office reserves the right to modify or deny any proclamation request.
To request a Proclamation, you may fill out the online request form below and submit it for consideration. Or if you prefer, you may contact Debi Headley in the Mayor's Office at 479-968-2098 or email her here. Requests must be submitted at least 15 business days in advance of the event. Upon receipt of the online request, you will be contacted and asked to provide any additional information needed to complete the proclamation. If you have a template or a sample proclamation available, you may attach it to the online request. You will be notified when the proclamation is complete and ready to be picked up.
